Border States congratulates Emma Groom, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Groom, a junior from Eden Prairie, Minn., was named The Summit League Women's Golfer of the Week after carding a 1-under par 143 score en route to winning the Kansas City Intercollegiate and propelling the Bison to their fourth victory of the season. Her first-career collegiate tournament victory, Groom penciled in a career-and program-record 36-hole scorecard. She has a 3.307 GPA in business marketing.
