Box Score FARGO, N.D.--North Dakota State shot better than 50 percent the entire ballgame and the Bison prevailed in exhibition men's college basketball Saturday, Nov. 6, with a 70-56 win over Minnesota State-Moorhead at the Bison Sports Arena.
The Bison opened the game on a 9-0 run and shot 58.6 percent in the first half en route to a 38-26 lead at intermission. NDSU never trailed in the game and led by as many as 18 points midway through the second half.
Myron Green led a trio of Bison players in double-figures with a game-high 20 points. He was 9-for-13 from the floor and added six rebounds and four assists.
NDSU's Adam Dobmeier scored 15 points and Andy Kelchen had 10. Kelchen also had six assists--four of them in the first half.
The Bison outrebounded the Dragons 33-24, led by seven boards from David Erbes and six each by Green and Kelchen.
MSU-Moorhead had three players score in double digits. Ridas Globys scored 15, Chris Anderson had 12, and the Dragons got 11 from Deandre Buchanan. Anderson had a team-high seven boards.
North Dakota State is scheduled to play its second and last exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, beginning at 4 p.m.
