Hebl's Match-High 12 Kills Not Enough in Three-Game Loss to Oral Roberts

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--North Dakota State's Kim Hebl connected for a match-high 12 kills, but Oral Roberts swept the Bison 30-23, 30-24, 30-18 in the Missouri State Dr. Mary Jo Wynn Invitational college women's volleyball tournament Sunday, Sept. 25.

Kelly Lopez added nine kills for North Dakota State (1-15) and Kelly Kaufmann recorded six kills and a .400 hitting percentage with only two errors in 10 attacks.

Defensively, the Bison put up seven team blocks, led by the five block assists from Lindsay Shockman-Rogers.

Ori Zuzic led Oral Roberts (6-6) with 12 kills, 13 digs and four service aces.  Joanita Souza added 11 kills and Jaqueline Oliveria chipped in 10 kills for the Golden Eagles.

North Dakota State is scheduled to continue play at 7 p.m. Sunday against tournament host Missouri State.
