Box Score FARGO, N.D.- North Dakota State defeated Concordia College-Moorhead 82-62 in a men's basketball exhibition game at the Bison Sports Arena on Saturday, Nov. 7, thanks to 20 points from junior Michael Tveidt.
Tveidt led five North Dakota State players in double figures. Freshman Mike Felt had 13 points, and sophomore Eric Carlson scored 12. Senior Josh Vaughan and freshman Nate Zastrow had 10 points apiece.
The Bison shot 53.6 percent from the field and Concordia shot 42 percent. NDSU was 19 of 26 from the line. Concordia was 17 of 26.
NDSU outrebounded Concordia 34-31, led by Vaughan's 10. The Bison committed 11 turnovers in the game.
Darrin Olmscheid led the Cobbers with 16 points, John Fraase scored 14, and Karl Olson had 7 points.
North Dakota State is scheduled to begin the regular season Friday, Nov. 13, at Utah Valley of the Great West Conference. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. MT at the McKay Events Center in Orem, Utah.
