2008-09 Season (Junior): Appeared in all 33 games off the bench...Averaged 2.8 points and 1.8 rebounds while playing 15.5 minutes per game...Dished out a season-high six assists in the season-opening win over Mayville State...Made three 3-pointers for a season-high nine points against Valley City State...NDSU’s second leading 3-point shooter making 42.9 percent from the arc...Shot 56 of his 71 field goal attempts from behind the 3-point line...Snared a season-high five rebounds at South Dakota State and at home against UMKC...Named to the Summit League Winter/Spring All-Academic Team and Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.

2007-08 Season (Sophomore): Played in 28 of 29 games and made 13 starts in the last half of the season...Averaged 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game...Scored in double figures three times...Had a season-high 14 points and career-high seven assists in the home win over Centenary...Scored 12 points in home wins over North Carolina Central and IPFW...Named to the Summit League Winter/Spring All-Academic Team and Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.

2006-07 Season (Freshman): Played in 26 of 28 games off the bench, averaging 11.2 minutes per game...Appeared in nine games over a month-long span without making a field goal before drilling 6 of 8 three-pointers in the home win over New Jersey Tech on March 1...Season-high six assists vs. Wisconsin-Green Bay and five against New Jersey Tech...Grabbed four rebounds in a win at Winston-Salem State.

2005-06 Season (Redshirt): Sat out the entire season as a redshirt in the Bison program...Played in both exhibition games, scoring two points in 14 minutes against Valley City State and also grabbing three rebounds...Had an assist and a rebound in seven minutes vs. Minnesota State Moorhead.

High School: Prepped at Braham High School, where he played for his father, Bob Vaughan...Graduated in 2005...Four-year starter and three-time all-conference pick, including one league MVP award...Averaged 9.1 points and 6.1 rebounds his senior year...Minnesota "Mr. Basketball" finalist and state All-Star Game participant...Second-team all-state and first-team academic all-state his senior year...Scored 14 points and added five blocks and three steals in a state semifinal victory over Rockford...Helped the Bombers to back-to-back state titles in 2004 and 2005 and was named to the all-state tournament team...Part of a 58-game winning streak...Also a four-year letterwinner in football...Twice named all-conference and was named league MVP his senior year...Member of the National Honor Society and served one year on the student council.
