
Bismarck Golfers Boeckel, Dvorak Sign With North Dakota State

FARGO, N.D. ? Bismarck's Oliver Boeckel and Kavin Dvorak have signed National Letters of Intent to play men's golf and continue their education at North Dakota State University. NDSU head coach Billy Iverson made the announcement Monday, May 24.
Boeckel has been a five-year starter at Bismarck High School, where he had a 76.2 stroke average last year. He has been all-conference twice and made the All-West Region tournament team in 2007 and 2009. He won the 2008 North Dakota Golf Association junior boys championship.
Dvorak has been a five-year starter at Bismarck Century High School, where he was the 2008 North Dakota Class A individual state champion and led the Patriots to a second-place team finish. He is a three-time Western Dakota Junior Tour champion and had a 73.4 average on the 2009 tour.
North Dakota State placed ninth at the Summit League championship in April. Freshman Nathan Anderson of Oxbow, N.D., led the Bison with a 76.8 season average and a ninth-place finish at the league championship.
