Statements from Coach Bohl | NDSU News Conference

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State University head football coach Craig Bohl will continue to lead the Bison through the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision playoffs despite being named the next head coach at the University of Wyoming.

Bohl was the 2012 FCS Coach of the Year by The Sports Network and the American Football Coaches Association.  He is a three-time Missouri Valley Football Conference Coach of the Year and has guided North Dakota State to three straight MVFC championships and back-to-back FCS national titles.  He has a 101-32 record in his 11th season at NDSU including a 12-0 mark this year.

Bohl was an assistant at NDSU in 1984 before returning as the head coach in 2003, the program's final year in Division II, which was highlighted by a 25-24 win at Montana in just his second game.  He guided the Bison to a Great West Football Conference title in 2006 and back-to-back 10-1 seasons during the Division I reclassification.  NDSU has won four straight games against Football Bowl Subdivision opponents and has a 7-3 record against FBS teams.

North Dakota State is scheduled to host Coastal Carolina in the FCS quarterfinals at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, on ESPN.
