NDSU Soccer and South Dakota State Play to Scoreless Draw Sunday

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The North Dakota State University women's soccer team and South Dakota State played to a 0-0 tie in double overtime on a windy Sunday afternoon, Oct. 18, at Fishback Soccer Park in Brookings.
With the draw, the Bison are now 9-5-1 overall and 4-0-1 in Summit League play while the Jackrabbits move to 8-4-2 on the season and 3-0-1 in league action.
North Dakota State is scheduled to host Fort Wayne in the 2015 home finale on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. at Dacotah Field.
Senior goalkeeper Sierra Bonham made four saves and didn't allow a goal in 110 minutes between the pipes to tally her sixth shutout of the season and move to 9-5-1 overall.
Junior forward Lauren Miller paced the North Dakota State offense with five shots and two shots on goal, while fellow junior Amy Yang, sophomore Brittany Mueller and freshman Hanna Norman each placed one shot on target in the contest.
Madison Yueill, Nicole Hatcher and Diana Potterveld each tallied one shot on goal to lead South Dakota State offensively.
SDSU goalkeeper Nicole Inskeep posted a match-high five saves in 110 minutes and moved to 8-4-2 on the season with the tie.
