Sanford Health Athletic Complex Construction Update: July 2015

While nearly all of the white exterior walls of the former Bison Sports Arena have been removed, plenty of new walls are going up inside the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.
Drywall has been added on the new third floor mechanical and storage locations, and metal studs line the new second floor academic area and first floor sports medicine offices and basketball locker rooms.
Masons are busy building brick columns around future trophy cases in the southwest hallway near the basketball locker rooms. Concrete has been poured in the south lobby and another big concrete pour will soon happen in the north end of the building for the lower concourse, restrooms and concession stand.
Steel and precast concrete are still being placed on the east expansion to house a new second-floor club room overlooking Scheels Center, and windows are being framed in over the south ticket lobby and second floor administrative offices.
