FARGO, N.D. – An expanded broadcast agreement with Midco Sports Network will result in a minimum of 24 games shown across various television outlets for the North Dakota State men's basketball program in the 2016-17 season.
Midco Sports Network will televise 13 of the 14 NDSU men's basketball home games in HD, beginning with the exhibition contest against Concordia-Moorhead on Nov. 2. All televised home games will also be provided to ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app for national coverage.
MidcoSN will also broadcast road contests at North Dakota on Dec. 16, at South Dakota State on Dec. 28, and at South Dakota on Jan. 11.
Other televised games include the Nov. 29 game at nationally ranked Xavier (Fox Sports 1) and the Dec. 20 game at Arkansas (SEC Network).
NDSU's road games at Missouri State, Western Illinois, IUPUI and Oral Roberts will be available on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
In addition to its expanded game coverage, MidcoSN will produce and air The Bison Basketball Show during the upcoming season. The weekly, half-hour show will air on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. CT, providing an inside look into the NDSU basketball teams with interviews, feature stories, and highlights of home and away matchups.
The Bison Basketball Show is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, Nov. 3. MidcoSN announced this week that Brian Shawn will handle play-by-play duties for all NDSU men's and women's basketball games, as well as hosting The Bison Basketball Show.
