The Games: The North Dakota State men's basketball team (2-0) will play three games at the High Point University Tournament in High Point, N.C., on Nov. 18-20.

About Navy: The Midshipmen increased their win total for the fourth straight year in 2015-16, posting an overall record of 19-14. Navy returns two starters, including junior Shawn Anderson, who led the team in scoring with 13.2 points per game last season. The Midshipmen led the Patriot League in scoring defense and field goal percentage defense in 2015-16.

About UNC Greensboro: The Spartans were selected to finish fifth in the Southern Conference preseason poll after going 15-19 overall last season and 10-8 in SoCon play. UNCG advanced to the second round of the College Basketball Invitational. The Spartans return four starters from last season's team along with 75.9 percent of their scoring from last year.

About High Point: The Panthers are coming off a 2015-16 season in which HPU posted a 21-11 record and claimed the Big South regular season title for the fourth straight year. HPU advanced to the NIT for the second time in three seasons. The Panthers were picked fifth out of 10 teams in the Big South preseason poll after graduating their top three scorers from a year ago.

First Meetings: North Dakota State has never played Navy, UNC Greensboro or High Point in men's basketball.

Neutral Site: NDSU is 16-5 in neutral-site games since the start of the 2012-13 season.

Season Opener: The Bison posted a 76-66 victory over Arkansas State in the regular season opener and the inaugural game at the Scheels Center on Nov. 11. NDSU used a 19-0 run over an eight-minute stretch of the second half to pull away and earn the win. Arkansas State led 48-47 with 11 minutes remaining in the contest, but the ensuing 19-0 Bison run gave NDSU a 66-48 advantage with 3:20 to play.

Career Highs: Junior
A.J. Jacobson set new career highs in rebounds (9), steals (4) and blocks (3) vs. Arkansas State on Nov. 11. He set another career high with 4 blocks against Minnesota Morris two days later.

Quick Start: Junior guard
Paul Miller scored 24 points in NDSU's win over Arkansas State on Nov. 11, matching the second-best scoring output of his career. Miller scored a career-high 27 vs. North Carolina A&T on Nov. 28 of last season.

Exhibition Result: The Bison turned in a strong performance in the first-ever event held at the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex, cruising to a 90-53 win over Concordia-Moorhead in exhibition action on Nov. 2.
               Nine different Bison scored five or more points in the game, led by sophomore guard
Khy Kabellis with 16 points. Redshirt freshman forward
Deng Geu scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting, and senior forward
Dexter Werner nearly recorded a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.

Picked Third: NDSU has been picked to finish third in The Summit League this season, according to the annual preseason poll of league head coaches, sports information directors and media.

Paul Miller was voted to the preseason All-Summit League first team, while senior forward
Dexter Werner claimed a spot on the second team.
               Fort Wayne topped the preseason poll with 491 points and 18 first-place votes. South Dakota State came in second with 424 points and nine first-place votes, and the Bison were third with 422 points and four first-place votes.

On a Run: With 93 victories over the past four seasons, the Bison are in the midst of the most successful four-year stretch in program history.
               NDSU has swept the Summit League regular season and tournament titles three times in an eight-year span (2009, 2014, 2015), winning a school-record 26 games in both 2008-09 and 2013-14.

Four Straight 20-Win Seasons: The Bison have four straight 20-win seasons for just the second time in school history. NDSU won 20-plus games each year from 1993-97.

Four Straight Championship Games: The Bison have played in four consecutive Summit League Tournament championship games, winning the title in 2014 and 2015.

Mid-Major Poll: The Bison were ranked 19th in the preseason College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 poll. Preseason Summit League favorite Fort Wayne was voted 15th in the poll. NDSU opponents South Dakota State and Missouri State also received votes.

Returning Stats: The Bison return 83 percent of their scoring and 76 percent of their rebounding from the 2015-16 season.

Under Richman: David Richman has been a member of the NDSU coaching staff for six 20-win seasons, as well as producing 14 all-league players and eight of the top 17 scorers in NDSU history. In all, the Bison are 215-127 (.627 win percentage) in his 11 years as a full-time member of the staff.
