Brayden Resch drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the game 1-1 before Pierzchalski's double to right-center field.
VanderWoude struck out four of the first five batters he faced and improved to 3-0 with the win. Starter
Reed Pfannenstein allowed one unearned run on four hits with three walks and two strikeouts.
Leadoff man Jake Palomaki was 2-for-3 with a run scored for Boston College (8-1). Starting pitcher Jacob Stevens walked one and fanned nine in six innings of no-hit ball before being lifted after 94 pitches. Bobby Skogsbergh, the first of three BC relievers, dropped to 0-1 with the loss.
Pierzchalski drove in NDSU's only run in a 6-1 loss to St. Bonaventure earlier in the day.

Alex Rogers allowed six runs on seven hits with two walks in 2 1/3 innings and dropped to 0-1 with the loss.
Left fielder Aaron Phillips was 3-for-4 for the Bonnies (7-2), first baseman Matt Eastman drove in three runs, and starter Brandon Schimm struck out four in 7 1/3 innings to improve to 2-1 with the win.
North Dakota State is scheduled to play St. Bonaventure again at 10 a.m. EST on Sunday, March 6.
