FARGO, N.D. - It's a new season for the North Dakota State University football program, and the Bison are moved into a new home.
North Dakota State reported for fall camp on Sunday, July 30, shortly after the completed renovation of the team's locker room on the lower level of the Fargodome.
The previous locker room furnishings were removed in late April following the annual spring game. The remodel included new flooring, lighting, sound system, lockers, graphics and a fueling station. The athletic training room also upgraded its hot and cold pools.
North Dakota State held its first practice Monday, July 31, and will have three full weeks of training camp before the start of classes. NDSU returns 16 starters - nine on defense and seven on offense - and has 105 players in camp.
The Bison, who were picked to win the Missouri Valley Football Conference in a preseason league poll, open the regular season on Saturday, Sept. 2, hosting Mississippi Valley State at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
Single-game tickets for NDSU's six home games go on sale at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, on GoBison.com/tickets and at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex ticket office.
