GREELEY, Colo. – The North Dakota State University women's soccer team fell at Northern Colorado, 2-0, on Friday, Sept. 8.
The Bears (6-1-0) scored goals in the 26th and 89th minutes on their way to the victory.
NDSU (0-7-0) was outshot by Northern Colorado in the match, 24-8, including a 10-4 margin in shots on goal.
Junior Roxy Roemer tallied three shots on goal to lead the Bison offensively, while junior goalkeeper Julia Edelstein (0-4-0) made a career-best eight saves between the posts.
Erica Estes and Cara Quinn each netted a goal to lead Northern Colorado.
UNC goalkeeper Madeline Burdick (6-1-0) earned the win in goal after making four saves.
North Dakota State is scheduled to play at Colorado State Sunday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. MT.
