NDSU in Second Place After Two Rounds at Battle at Old Works

Second Round Results

ANACONDA, Mont. – The North Dakota State University women's golf team is in second place at the Battle at Old Works after the the first two rounds of competition Monday, Sept. 10, at the Old Works Golf Course.

North Dakota State shot an opening-round 309 and was sitting at the top of the leaderboard at the start of the second round. Emma Groom and Sierra Bennion came in with the best rounds of the team at 4-over-par 76.

North Dakota State came back to fire a 307 in the second round, but the Bison slipped into second place behind Eastern Washington after the Eagles shot a 301.

NDSU's total of 616 is three shots behind Eastern Washington. Rounding out the top three is Cal State Fullerton at 632.

Emma Groom shot a 3-over 75 second round and is currently tied for second with a 151 five shots behind Eastern Washington's Alexa Clark. NDSU's Camryn Roadley, competing as an individual, had a 3-over 75 and is currently tied with Bennion for sixth place at 153.

North Dakota State will conclude tournament play with the third round Tuesday, Sept. 11, beginning at 9 a.m. MT.
