NDSU Volleyball Adds Transfer Allison Scheiwiller for 2021 Spring Season

12/1/2020 4:06:00 PM

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State head volleyball coach Jennifer Lopez has announced the addition of transfer Allison Scheiwiller prior to the 2021 spring season.

Scheiwiller is a 6-foot-2 middle blocker from High Point University, who comes to NDSU with four seasons of eligibility remaining after redshirting her freshman year in 2019. She is eligible to compete immediately for the Bison this spring after the 2020 fall season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Allie's determination, both on and off the court, is what sets her apart from others," said Lopez. "She has the ability to do some great things at a really high level and is going to make a huge impact once she steps on the court."

Scheiwiller is a Bourbonnais, Ill., native, where she was a three-time all-conference and three-time all-area honoree at Bradley Bourbonnais HS. She registered 307 blocks in her high school career and posted a .437 hitting percentage as a senior.

Scheiwiller also helped lead UNO Volleyball Club (17 Elite) to the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championship in 2018.

The Bison will open the 2020-21 volleyball season with Summit League matches at Kansas City on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
