The Games: The Bison will play at home for the first time this season, hosting Omaha on Friday, Jan. 8, and Saturday, Jan. 9, inside the Scheels Center. Both games are scheduled to tip at 7:30 p.m. following the 5 p.m. women's games between the Bison and Mavericks.

Where to Watch: Both games will be broadcast on MidcoSN and streamed live on ESPN+, as well as being available on GoBison.com/allaccess.
Radio: Jeff Culhane and
Dexter Werner will call the games on 107.9 The Fox, Bison 1660, and 94.5 KDLB in Detroit Lakes, Minn., as well as being streamed on the 107.9 The Fox app, the Bison 1660 app, and on GoBison.com/allaccess. The men's broadcast will be joined in progress on Bison 1660 at the conclusion of the women's broadcast.
The Series with Omaha: Friday and Saturday will be the 85th and 86th meetings between North Dakota State and Omaha dating back to 1935-36. NDSU has a 51-33 lead in the series. The Bison swept both meetings last season, winning 86-78 at Omaha on Feb. 5 and 87-67 in Fargo on Feb. 29.
Balanced Bison: Six Bison players scored in double figures in NDSU's 78-67 win at Western Illinois on Jan. 3, led by junior
Tyree Eady with 16 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore
Jarius Cook added 14 points, and freshman
Grant Nelson scored 13 for NDSU. Bison junior
Sam Griesel finished with 10 points, seven assists, and five rebounds.
Double-Double: Sam Griesel registered his first double-double of the season and the third of his career at Western Illinois in the conference opener, finishing with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Summit Start: The Bison are looking for their first 3-0 start to Summit League play since the 2016-17 season, when NDSU opened with four straight wins before losing at Denver in the fifth league game.
Dezmond Dishes: Freshman
Dezmond McKinney has eight assists over 51 minutes played in the past three games. He recorded a season-high four assists in the first win at Western Illinois on Jan. 2.

Jarius Cook scored a career-high 22 points and added a career-high six rebounds in NDSU's loss at TCU on Dec. 22.
Sammy Dimes: NDSU junior
Sam Griesel dished out 12 assists at TCU on Dec. 22 – tied for the seventh-most in a single game in school history, and the most ever by a Bison against a Division I opponent.
Rock-er Texas Ranger: Rocky Kreuser's 21 points at TCU were the second-highest scoring total of his career. He poured in 23 points at New Mexico State on Nov. 6, 2018, in the season opener of his sophomore year.
Learning On The Go: Sophomores
Jarius Cook and
Maleeck Harden-Hayes have already played significantly more minutes this season than they did in their entire freshman campaigns. Cook has logged 274 minutes in 10 games this year, topping the 187 he played in the 2018-19 season before taking a redshirt year. Harden-Hayes has played 244 minutes in nine games this season, surpassing the 161 he played as a freshman last year.
