Anderson Leads NDSU Women in Final Cross Country Race at NCAA Midwest Regional

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The North Dakota State women's cross country team finished 17th in the team standings at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday morning.
Senior Kelby Anderson paced the Bison in the final cross country race of her career, taking 40th place overall in a time of 21:31.6 for the six-kilometer race. NDSU freshman Grace Link was the No. 2 finisher for the Bison, running 21:56.9 for 73rd place.
Sophomore Kaleesa Houston (22:02.3) placed 79th, senior Jen Dufner (22:42.9) took 133rd, and junior Erin Valgardson (22:47.8) finished 138th to round out the team scoring for NDSU.
Minnesota won the women's team title with 45 points, and Iowa State's Cailie Logue claimed the individual crown.
