The Game: The North Dakota State men's basketball team (7-4) will travel to Stockton, Calif., to take on the Pacific Tigers on Friday, Dec. 17, at 9 p.m. CT / 7 p.m. PT, completing the non-conference portion of the schedule.

Against Pacific: Friday will be the first-ever meeting between the Bison and the Tigers in men's basketball.
In California: The Bison have won their last two games in California. NDSU won 71-62 at CSU Northridge in December 2019 and won 60-57 at Cal Poly on Nov. 12 this season. The Bison have won five straight over schools from California, dating back to a 75-65 loss at #10 USC on Nov. 13, 2017.
Second-Half Surges: The Bison have rattled off 16-2 runs in the second half of their past two games. Against CSU Northridge, NDSU led by five with 8 minutes remaining before a 16-2 run put the Bison up 19. Against Indiana State, NDSU trailed by 11 with 16 minutes left, but the 16-2 run gave the Bison a three-point lead.
Sammy Hoops: Sam Griesel put up 25 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in NDSU's 77-70 comeback win over Indiana State on Monday night. It was the second-highest scoring output of his career, trailing only his 26 points at South Dakota in the regular season finale last year.
Windex Man: Rocky Kreuser pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds against CSU Northridge on Dec. 10, posting his fourth double-double of the season.
Settling In: Grant Nelson is averaging 14.0 points on 56-percent shooting over the past six games.
Limiting Fouls: NDSU is committing the 8th-fewest fouls per game in Division I this season, averaging 13.0 fouls per contest.
