Against Indiana State: Monday will be the second-ever meeting between the Bison and Sycamores in men's basketball. Indiana State won the only previous game, 71-60 in Terre Haute on Dec. 3, 2019. NDSU fell behind 20-4 in the first 15 minutes of that game, but the Bison stormed back to pull ahead 36-35 on a three pointer by Rocky Kreuser with 15:55 remaining.

Lineup Limbo: The Bison have used five different starting lineups in nine games this season. No starting lineup combination has been used more than three times.

Getting to the Line: The Bison have earned 52 free throw attempts over the past two games -- 28 vs. Northland on Dec. 2, and 24 at Montana State on Dec. 7.

Limiting Fouls: NDSU is committing the 10th-fewest fouls per game in Division I this season, averaging 13.3 fouls per contest.

Offensive Volatility: In nine games this season, NDSU has either scored 88+ points (three times) or 62 points or less (six times). The Bison have yet to score between 62 and 88 points in a game this season.

Rocky's Record: Fifth-year Bison senior Rocky Kreuser set the NDSU career record for games played on Dec. 2 vs. Northland, appearing in his 133rd game to surpass Mike Felt's (2009-14) record of 132.

Offensive Outburst: The Bison put up the seventh-highest point total in school history on Dec. 2, routing Northland College 114-51 inside the Scheels Center. The Bison drained a season-best 14 three-pointers in the game, shooting 54 percent from beyond the arc. In the second half, NDSU made 20-of-24 shots from the field (83 percent).
It was NDSU's first time surpassing 100 points in a game since a 100-63 victory over UNC Wilmington in El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 21, 2017. The total of 114 points was also the most by the Bison since the school record of 128 vs. Mayville State in November 2008.

Freshmen Breakout: Freshman forward Andrew Morgan (Waseca, Minn.) led the Bison with 24 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks in the win over Northland, shooting 10-for-11 in the game. Second-year freshman Boden Skunberg registered his first career double-double with career-highs in points (12) and rebounds (11). The Jamestown, N.D., native also made 3-of-4 from downtown.

Now We're Cooking: Jarius Cook drained a career-high five three-pointers in NDSU's win over Tarleton State on Nov. 22. He scored 17 points in the game for the second-highest output of his career, trailing only his 22 points at TCU on Dec. 22 of last season.
