Tennessee Titans Select Dillon Radunz in Second Round of NFL Draft

CLEVELAND - The Tennessee Titans selected North Dakota State left tackle Dillon Radunz in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft on Friday, April 30, with the 53rd overall pick.

Radunz was the second FCS player selected in the draft behind former NDSU quarterback Trey Lance, who was the No. 3 overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round.

Radunz is the highest drafted offensive lineman from North Dakota State and one of three Bison left tackles selected in the past eight years joining 2014 Dolphins draft pick Billy Turner (currently with the Packers) and 2016 Colts draft pick Joe Haeg (currently with the Steelers).

NDSU has multiple draft picks for the ninth time in school history and the first time since 2016 when Haeg went in the fifth round following quarterback Carson Wentz, who was the No. 2 overall pick of the Eagles.

Linebacker Jabril Cox, who graduated from NDSU and played his final season of eligibility at LSU, is also projected as a high-round draft pick and would give NDSU three draft picks in the same class for the second time in program history (1974).

The NFL Draft is televised live on NFL Network, ESPN and ABC. Coverage of the fourth through seventh rounds begins at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, May 1.
