SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - North Dakota State sophomore golfer
Nate Deziel has been named the Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance at the Golfweek Spring Invitational. This is the third time this season that a Bison has earned the award, as
Jack Johnson has earned it twice this year.
Deziel helped the Bison claim the team title at the Golfweek Spring Invitational after posting the best 54-hole score of his career. The sophomore broke par in each of his rounds en route to a 210 (-6), which was the 11
th-best three-round score in program history.
The East Grand Forks, Minn., native shared the birdie lead in the field with Johnson, as both Bison players made 15 during their three loops around the True Blue Golf Club. He made six of those in his closing 69 (-3) that was his second round in the 60's this season.
