NDSU Men’s Golf’s Petry Named Kwik Star Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D – North Dakota State men's golfer Rylin Petry has been named the final Kwik Star Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week, announced the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Petry led the way for the Bison at the Hawkeye Invitational, helping NDSU finish as the top Summit League team (4th), while also finishing as the top Summit League golfer in the individual leaderboard. Petry carded his season best round of 67 in the tournament to help him finish at -2 overall in fifth place. The senior posted 13 birdies overall for the weekend and never shot worse than bogey over 54 holes.

Wednesday's honor for Petry is the fourth Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week accolade for the Fertile, Minnesota native, after he won twice during the 2024-25 campaign last season and once earlier this year on September 11.

Petry and the men's golf program return to action May 3-5 for the Summit League Championships, which will be held in Mesa, Arizona at Longbow GC.
