NDSU Men’s Golf Wraps Day One at Wildcat Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The North Dakota State men's golf team wrapped up day one at the Wildcat Invitational on Monday afternoon.
The Bison compiled rounds of +17 and +24 and currently sit in 14th place.
Henry Johnson (76-71) finished the day in a tie for ninth at +3 overall. Starting on hole 10 in round two, Johnson opened the round with three birdies in his first four holes, then eagled the 513-yard 16th. He birded two of his final three holes to finish at one-under on the round and climb up 36 spots on the leaderboard.
Peyton Albers (80-76) finished the day in a tie for 56th at +12 overall. Albers collected seven birdies on the day, with three in round one and four in round two.
Andrew Ballou (75-86) and Carter White (82-81) finished in a tie for 68th at +17 overall. Ballou eagled the 16th hole on his way to a +3 first round. White birdied holes 1 and 6 in round two, firing a front-nine 37.
Sean Moore (74-89) rounded out the group for the Bison, sitting in 72nd at +17 overall. Moore collected four birdies in round one to pace the Bison through 18 holes.
The Bison will look to climb the leaderboard tomorrow morning on the final day of the Wildcat Invitational.
