NDSU Men’s Golf Finishes Wildcat Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The North Dakota State men's golf team finished out their second tournament of the fall season at the Wildcat Invitational.
The Bison fired rounds of 305 (+17), 313 (+25) and 304 (+16) and finished in 14th place at +58 overall.
Henry Johnson (76-71-76—223) finished just outside the top 20, ending in a tie for 22nd at +7 overall. He carded five birdies and an eagle in round two to move up the leaderboard. He birded hole 16 in the final round, bringing his three-day total on the 513-yard par five to -4.
Peyton Albers (80-76-76—232) collected seven birdies over his first two rounds to finish in a tie for 57th at +16 overall. He grabbed 13 pars in round three to maintain his position on the leaderboard.
Andrew Ballou (75-86-76—237) finished in a tie for 63rd at +21 overall. He eagled hole 16 in round one and started round three strong with two birdies over his first four holes.
Sean Moore (74-89-76—239) and Carter White (82-80-81) rounded out the tournament for the Bison. Moore fired a 38 on both nines in round three, grabbing 12 pars and a birdie. He finished in a tie for 66th at +23 overall. White ended in a tie for 71st at +27 overall.
The Bison will take a week off before traveling to Madison, Wisconsin to compete in the Badger Invitational on September 27-29.
