NEWTON, Kan. – The North Dakota State men's golf team finished third at the Summit League Championship at Sand Creek Station Golf Course Monday.

NDSU shot a 301 in the final round, finishing with a three-round total of 885. Denver won the team title with an 865 and Oral Roberts' Jackson Howes won the individual title with a 206, as each earned automatic berths to the NCAA National Championships.

Lucas Johnson finished tied for seventh with a 220 in his final tournament as a Bison. Johnson shot an 70 in the final round and finished the tournament with 11 birdies. Johnson's 74.57 stroke average over four years ranks as the fourth-lowest in program history. Freshman
Nate Adams, who shot a 76 in the final round, also had 11 birdies in the tournament. Adams finished tied for 12
th with a 221. Freshman
Jack Johnson shot a 73 in the final round, as he finished tied for 24
th with a 228. Johnson recorded an eagle on the 16
th hole and finished the tournament with two birdies. Johnson finished the season with a 73.94 stroke average, the 14th best in school history.Â

Brock Winter finished tied for 29
th with a 230. Winter shot an 82 in the final round and finished the tournament with eight birdies. Sophomore
Nate Deziel rounded out the scoring for the Bison, finishing in 37
th with a 236. Deziel shot an 89 in the final round and recorded two birdies.
