NDSU Men’s Golf Places Two on CSC Academic All-District Team

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State men's golf had two student-athletes selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Seniors Rylin Petry and Gabe Benson were selected to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team. Both Bison registered at least a 3.95 grade point average, with the minimum to be eligible a 3.5. Both Benson and Petry also competed for the Bison throughout the season, and were members of the Summit League Championship winning squad in May and team to compete at NCAA regionals.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 8.
