NDSU Women’s Golf Tied for 12th Place after Day One at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – The North Dakota State women's golf team is tied for 12th place after day one of the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational at Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course.
The Bison posted a first round of score of 305 to be positioned tied for 12th place on the par 71 course. Hawaii holds the top spot with a first-round score of 290. Oral Roberts is tied for second place with Gonzaga after both teams registered a first-round score of 293.
Elise Hoven paced the Bison tied for 12th place matching a season-low single round score of 73. She connected on 12 pars and two birdies. Leah Skaar, who notched 10 pars and two birdies, is slotted tied for 27th with a first-round score of 75. Lexi Geolat posted 11 pars with one birdie and is tied for 53rd with a score of 78. Catherine Monty is tied for 68th with a score of 79, while Maddie Herzog closed out the group with a first-round score of 82 and is tied for 83rd.
As a team, NDSU posted 53 pars and six birdies. The average score was 76.86.
NDSU will be back in action tomorrow at the Coeur D'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.
