Hicks Garners Summit League Scholar of the Championship Honors

MESA, Ariz. – Senior Madi Hicks has been tabbed the Summit League Women's Golf Scholar of the Championship, the league office announced on Sunday morning.

Hicks boasts a 4.0 grade-point average in management information systems. The Victoria, Minn., native is also three-time WGCA All-American Scholar, two-time CSC Academic All-District Team and two-time Summit League All-Academic Team selection. Hicks was named to the All-Summit League Second Team and the Newcomer of the Year in 2023 and earned a spot on the 2026 All-Summit League First Team earlier this week.

The Scholar of the Championship award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average participating at each of the Summit League's 19 championships. Each institution that is participating in a Summit League championship is eligible to submit one nominee for the Scholar of the Championship award.
