NDSU Welcomes Kansas City and Oral Roberts to Scheels Center

THIS WEEK
The North Dakota State (7-10, 3-4 Summit) women's basketball team is set to open up a four-game homestand hosting Kansas City (11-4, 1-3 Summit) on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. The Bison will wrap up the week against Oral Roberts (9-8, 4-2 Summit) on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at Scheels Center.
GAME COVERAGE
Radio: Keith Brake (play-by-play) and Katie Johnson (analyst) will be on the call for both games. The contest against Kansas City will be on The City 94.5 FM, while the game against Oral Roberts will be on Bison 1660.
Watch: Both contests will be available on WDAY Xtra. Dom Izzo (play-by-play), Amy Ruley (analyst) and Logan Campbell (sideline) will be on the call. The game will also be available on ESPN+ for subscribers.

BISON QUICK HITS
Heaven Hamling netted a season-high 25 points to lift NDSU past Western Illinois, 63-55. Hamling notched her third 20-point game of the season with a game-high 25 points on 5-of-10 shooting from three. She also grabbed a career-high nine rebounds and handed out four assists over 40 minutes of action. Olivia Skibiel notched her second straight double-digit scoring performance with a season-best 16 points and eight rebounds.
IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME
NDSU is returns to Scheels Center this week and begins its longest homestand of the season playing each of its next four games at home. The Bison are 4-3 at Scheels Center, including a 4-1 mark over their last five. Heaven Hamling (14.4) and Ryan Cobbins (13.9) are both averaging double digits in scoring at home.
HEAVY WORKLOAD
Heaven Hamling has played all 40 minutes in each of her last three games. She has logged 577:30 total minutes this season, which positions her 29th in the nation and fourth in the Summit League.
ONE OF THE BEST FROM THREE
Heaven Hamling enters the week positioned inside the top three in the Summit League in three-point field-goal percentage (1st, 41.5), three-point field goals made (2nd, 40) and three-point field goals per game (3rd, 2.35). She has knocked down four or more triples in five games, including shooting 5-of-10 in the road win at Western Illinois.
SKIBIEL STEPS UP
Olivia Skibiel has started each of the last two games for Bison. Over that span, she is averaging 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over 34.5 minutes per game. Skibiel has also connected on all six free throw attempts.
DIETZ CONTINUES TO HIT MILESTONES
Emily Dietz has started 99 career games and is on pace to make her 100th career start, which would rank eighth on the all-time NDSU games started list. Dietz would be become only the fourth player in the Division I era to start 100 or more games.
In the win over Denver, Dietz reached 1,000 career points and became the 35th player in NDSU history and only the ninth in the Division I era to accomplish the feat. She has totaled 1,029 points over five seasons and ranks 34th on the NDSU all-time scoring list.
Dietz, who has played in 102 straight games, has grabbed 629 total rebounds and is slotted 17th on the NDSU all-time rebounding list. She's only the third player in the Division I era to surpass 600 or more rebounds.
LOCKED IN AT THE LINE
NDSU ranks 25th in the country and second in the Summit League in free throws made with 230. The Bison are also slotted second in the Summit League in free throw percentage shooting 76.2.

Kansas City begins the week with an 11-4 (1-3 Summit) overall record and most recently fell short at Oral Roberts, 77-66. Brooklyn McDavid tallied a team-high 14 points and six rebounds against the Golden Eagles.
Kansas City, who started the season with a 10-1 record, leads the Summit league in three-point field goal defense (25.8), rebounds per game (39.8) and rebound margin (8.8). Naomie Alnatas paces the Roos and leads the Summit League in assists (72), assists per game (4.8) and points per game (18.3).
THE SERIES VS. KANSAS CITY
This will be the 17th all-time meeting dating back to 2008 with the series deadlocked, 8-8. In the most recent meeting last season, NDSU went on the road and edged Kansas City, 68-65, after a late 7-0 run. Ryan Cobbins led the way with a team-high 18 points and six rebounds.
