NDSU Travels to Oral Roberts and Kansas City

THIS WEEK
The North Dakota State (9-14, 5-8 Summit) women's basketball team is set to travel to Oral Roberts (13-12, 8-6 Summit) on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The Bison will close the week at Kansas City (20-5, 10-4 Summit) on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m.

BISON QUICK HITS
NDSU grinded out a 69-60 win over St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon at Scheels Center. Reneya Hopkins notched her second straight and fifth double digit scoring game of the season with a career-best 18 points. She shot 5-of-5 from the free throw line and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc to go along with a team-best two steals. Ryan Cobbins contributed 15 points, while Emily Dietz added in 12 points and four rebounds. Heaven Hamling rounded out the top performers with 12 points, seven rebounds and a game-high five assists.
RENEYA RISES UP
Reneya Hopkins has provided a spark off the bench over the last two games averaging a team-high 15.5 points per game. She's shooting 52.4 percent (11-21) from the field and 40.0 percent (4-10) from three to go along with four steals.
HEAVY WORKLOAD
Heaven Hamling has started all 25 games this season and is logging a team-high 34.0 minutes per contest. Ryan Cobbins has also started all 25 games this season and is registering 30.9 minutes per game. Hamling currently ranks fourth (32.1) and Cobbins is slotted 10th (29.1) on the NDSU all-time minutes average list.

Heaven Hamling enters the week positioned inside the top five in the Summit League in three point field goal percentage (1st, 38.9), three point field goals made (3rd, 56), three point field goals per game (3rd, 2.24) and three point field goals attempted (5th, 144).
HAMLING CLIMBS THE RANKS
Heaven Hamling has surpassed 100 career three pointers with 112. She currently ranks 13th on the Bison all-time three point field goals made list and is 1-of-15 players in program history to register 100 or more triples.
Through 25 games this season, Hamling has also connected on a team-high 56 three pointers on 144 attempts. She is currently positioned 11th on the Bison single season three point field goals made list and is one triple away from tying her career-high of 57, which was set last season.
SCOUTING ORAL ROBERTS
Oral Roberts is 3-1 over its four games and most recently rolled past Western Illinois, 93-74, on Monday night. Four Golden Eagles hit double digits in the scoring column with Tirzah Moore settting the pace with a game-high 25 points.
The Golden Eagles lead the Summit League in free throw attempts (510) and free throws made (367), while Moore also leads the Summit League in field goal percentage shooting 54.5 percent.
THE SERIES VS. ORAL ROBERTS
NDSU won each of the last three meetings against Oral Roberts. However, the Golden Eagles lead the all-time series, 19-8. Earlier this season, NDSU held off a late surge from Oral Roberts to pick up a 74-70 win at Scheels Center on Jan. 22. Heaven Hamling led the way with a game-high 19 points on 4-of-8 shooting from three.
SCOUTING KANSAS CITY
Kansas City has won its last seven games and most recently topped St. Thomas, 69-53, on Monday night. Paige Bradford notched a double-double with a season-high 19 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
Naomie Alnatas leads the Summit League in assists per game (5.4) and points per game (18.9).
THE SERIES VS. KANSAS CITY
This will be the 18th all-time meeting dating back to 2008 with the Roos holding the slight edge, 9-8. Earlier this season, Kansas City used a late 9-2 run in fourth quarter to sneak by NDSU, 67-62, at Scheels Center on Jan. 20. Emily Dietz registered a season-high 17 points and team-best nine rebounds.
