NDSU Women’s Golf Positioned Seventh After Day Two at Thunderbird Invitational

ST. GEORGE, Utah – The North Dakota State women's golf team is slotted in seventh place after day two at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational at Sunbrook Golf Course.
The Bison improved by eight strokes in round two to assemble rounds of 314 and 306 for a two-round total of 620. Seattle (299-297--596) is in first place, while Arkansas State (302-295--597) is one stroke back in second place. Weber State (308-299--607) rounds out the top three in third place.
Jo Baranczyk (74-76--150) leads the Bison tied for 10th place. Lexi Geolat (79-75--154) is also inside the top 25 tied for 22nd place. Elise Hoven (80-77--157) is tied for 38th place, while Leah Skaar (81-78--159) is positioned tied for 44th place. Catherine Monty (90-83--173) is also tied for 97th place.
Maddie Herzog (T56, 85-77--162), Ava Wallerich (T68th, 81-84--165) and Holly Murphy (99th, 93-83--176) also competed as individuals for the Bison.
The average score on the par 72 course in round two was 79.34 and average score over the first two rounds of play is 80.67.
The Bison will wrap up play at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational tomorrow.
