
Bison in Seventh After Second Round Suspended at Red Rocks Invitational

SEDONA, Ariz. – The North Dakota State women's golf team is seventh place after play was suspended due to darkness in the second round of the Red Rocks Invitational at Oakcreek Country Club.
The Bison are slotted seventh with a two-round total of 532 and have between three and five holes left to play in the second round when play resumes tomorrow after frost delayed the start of round one. Grand Canyon is leading the tournament with a two-round total of 522 and also have three or four holes remaining.
Maddie Herzog paces the Bison tied for 12th with three holes to play and notched a 72 in the opening round. Elise Hoven is also positioned inside the top 20 tied for 16th with five holes to play and fired a career-best 71 in round one.
Lexi Geolat registered a 77 in round one and sits tied for 31st with four holes to play. Jo Baranczyk posted a 75 in round one and is positioned tied for 43rd with three holes to play. Leah Skaar notched a round one total of 80 and is tied for 95th with four holes to play.
Holly Murphy tallied a career-best 77 in round one and is tied for 61st place with three holes to play as an individual. Catherine Monty also played as individual and is tied for 68th place with three holes to play after posting a first-round total of 78.
