SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team used a 22-0 run in the second half to claim an 82-62 victory over Denver in the quarterfinals of the Summit League Tournament on Saturday night inside the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

The No. 2 seed Bison improved to 22-9 on the season and will face the winner of No. 3 seed Oral Roberts and No. 6 seed Western Illinois on Monday night at 8:30 p.m. in the semifinals.

Rocky Kreuser led the Bison with 22 points, and
Tyree Eady (15),
Grant Nelson (14), and
Sam Griesel (11) joined him in double figures. Eady pulled down eight rebounds, and Griesel added eight assists and six boards.

The Bison trailed 52-47 with under 12 minutes remaining in the game before NDSU scored 22 unanswered points to go ahead 69-52. The Bison led by at least 13 the rest of the way.
The 22-0 run spanned six minutes and featured seven points from Nelson, six from Eady, five from Kreuser, and four from Griesel.

NDSU shot 56 percent in the second half, outscoring Denver 50-27 after halftime.
The Bison advanced to the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament for the ninth time in 10 seasons.Â
