NDSU Women’s Golf in Fifth Place Following Day One at ORU Invite

BROKEN ARROW, Okla.– The North Dakota State women's golf team is positioned in fifth place after day one at the ORU Spring Invitational at Indian Springs Golf Course.
The Bison put together rounds of 304 and 306 for a two-round total of 610 and are slotted in fifth place in the 10-team tournament. Oral Roberts is in first place with a score of 580, while Arkansas State sits one stroke back in second place with a score of 581. Little Rock rounds out the top three in third place with a score of 596.
Leah Skaar (73-76--149) is inside the top 10 tied for ninth place, while Jo Baranczyk (73-80--153) is tied for 25th place. Maddie Herzog (82-72--154), who tied a season-low 72 in round two, is slotted tied for 27th place. Lexi Geolat (77-78--155) is tied for 33rd place and Elise Hoven (81-80--161) is positioned tied for 51st place.
Catherine Monty (82-81--163) competed as an individual and is in 55th place. Ava Wallerich (89-79--168) also competed as an individual and is in 58th place.
The average score through two rounds of play on the par 72 course was 77.79.
NDSU will wrap up play tomorrow at the ORU Spring Invitational.
