FARGO, N.D. -- North Dakota State University men's track & field athlete
Trevor Otterdahl has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America first team for Division I, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Wednesday.

This is the second straight year that Otterdahl has earned first-team Academic All-America honors.

Otterdahl (Rosemount, Minn.) graduated with a bachelor's degree from NDSU in mathematics with a 3.96 cumulative GPA, and then earned an MBA with a 4.0 GPA. He was a first-team All-American in the weight throw in 2021 and 2022, placing in the top five at the NCAA Indoor Championships twice. Otterdahl was named the Summit League Championships Field MVP both indoor and outdoor in 2022.

Outdoor, Otterdahl was an NCAA West Prelims qualifier in the hammer throw, shot put and discus, and he claimed the Summit League title in the hammer.

The NDSU men's track & field program has now claimed 13 Academic All-America honors since the school's Division I transition.
