FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State and Tennessee State have finalized a home-and-home agreement to play two non-conference football games in 2024 and 2025.
NDSU will host at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome on Sept. 7, 2024, and travel to Nashville to play at Nissan Stadium on Sept. 6, 2025.
The Bison have never played Tennessee State, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. The Tigers are coached by former Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George.
Nissan Stadium has been home to Tennessee State football and the NFL's Tennessee Titans since 1999. The facility seats approximately 69,000 fans in downtown Nashville.
NDSU will play in another NFL stadium this fall when the Bison open their 2023 season hosting Eastern Washington in Minneapolis at U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings.
The home game with Tennessee State completes NDSU's 2024 schedule, which is a 12-game slate including a season-opener at Colorado on Aug. 31, a road trip to East Tennessee State on Sept. 14, and a home game with Towson on Sept. 21.
