FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team was locked in a back-and-forth battle with Oral Roberts until halftime on Thursday night, but ORU pulled away in the second half for a 92-69 victory over the Bison.

NDSU's five-game win streak was snapped with the loss. The Bison fell to 5-3 in Summit League play, while ORU improved to 7-0 in the league.

Oral Roberts led a tight contest at the half, 52-47, before the Golden Eagles scored the first 11 points of the second half to stretch the margin.

NDSU fought back to get within seven at 65-58 with 9:15 to play, but ORU scored the next 12 points to put the game away.

ORU shot 57 percent overall and made 14-of-32 (44 percent) from three-point range. The Golden Eagles shot 65 percent in the first half. NDSU hit 43 percent overall and drained 10-of-22 (46 percent) from beyond the arc.

Grant Nelson led the Bison with 21 points.
Boden Skunberg added 15 points and four assists for NDSU.
