Kopp Named MVFC Defensive Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS - North Dakota State linebacker Logan Kopp was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season Monday, Oct. 30, by the conference office.
Kopp, a sophomore from Lindbergh High School in St. Louis, made a team-high seven tackles and recorded his third interception of the season in North Dakota State's 38-6 win over Murray State. He had three solo tackles, one forced fumble, was part of one sack and two tackles for loss, and had two other tackles for no gain.
Kopp leads NDSU with 51 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles this season.
North Dakota State (6-2, 3-2 MVFC) is scheduled to play No. 1-ranked South Dakota State (8-0, 5-0 MVFC) at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings.
