The North Dakota State men's track & field team was paced on Friday by several distance performances that rank among the best in school history. The Bison competed in a pair of meets – the Music City Challenge in Nashville, Tenn., and the SDSU Indoor Classic in Brookings, S.D.

Zach Johnson (Moorhead, Minn.) ran a personal-best 14:28.02 in the 5000m at SDSU, ranking fifth-best in NDSU history. Competing unattached, NDSU's Jacob Knodle (West Fargo Sheyenne HS) clocked 14:28.42 – a performance that would rank him No. 6 all-time at NDSU.

Hunter Klimek now ranks eighth all-time at NDSU for the 3000m after running a personal-best 8:19.68 in Brookings.

In Nashville,
Isaac Huntington ran 1:20.67 in the 600m, ranking ninth-fastest in NDSU history.
Symon Keiser clocked 4:08.62 in the mile – the second-fastest time of his career.

Kaden Pastian placed fourth in the weight throw a mark of 63-07.75 (19.40m).
Tristan Bush threw 57-02.00 (17.42m) for the second-best meet of his career.

Josh Knutson ran 22.03 and
Jacob Levin ran 22.06 in the 200m at Vanderbilt.
Elijah Hylen took sixth in the high jump, clearing 6-7 (2.01m).
