KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team pulled away in the second half to earn a 69-58 victory at Kansas City on Thursday night in Summit League play.
The Bison improved to 9-6 in the league to remain in third place. Kansas City fell to 7-8 in league play.

Grant Nelson led all players with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and a career-high five blocks.
Boden Skunberg added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Bison, and freshman
Tajavis Miller scored 11.
The Bison led 28-24 at halftime. NDSU was up 38-34 with just over 13 minutes remaining when Miller hit a three and Nelson added a bucket to push the margin to nine at 43-34.
Leading 48-43 with eight minutes left, the Bison put together a 9-2 burst over the next two minutes to put the game away.
NDSU held the Roos to 30 percent shooting for the game. The Bison shot 44 percent and made 7-of-15 (47 percent) from three-point range.
NDSU plays at Oral Roberts on Saturday at 7 p.m.
