BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State's Zeke Mayo scored 41 points to carry the Jackrabbits to a 90-85 win over the North Dakota State men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon inside Frost Arena.

Grant Nelson led the Bison with 27 points and 15 rebounds, making 10-of-13 shots. Sophomore
Jacari White scored 18 points for NDSU.
SDSU improved to 14-11 overall and 9-4 in Summit League play. The Bison fell to 9-15 overall and 6-6 in the league.
NDSU led for just under 20 minutes of the contest, compared to 17:30 in the lead for the Jackrabbits. The Bison raced out to a 22-9 lead, but SDSU pulled within 43-41 at halftime and went into the lead with the first four points of the second half.
NDSU was up 78-77 following a bucket by
Boden Skunberg with just over three minutes remaining. SDSU used a 6-0 run over the next two minutes to win the game.
The Bison shot 60 percent for the game and made 44 percent from three-point range.
NDSU returns home to host Omaha and Denver on Feb. 9-11 next week.
