PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. –
Madi Hicks climbed up nine spots on the leaderboard and is tied for third place after two rounds of play at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Hicks was even on 16-of-18 holes and posted two birdies to finish -2 on the par 71 course with a career-low 69 in round two. She has assembled rounds of 72 and 69 for a two-round total of 141 and is tied for third place to pace the Bison.
Catherine Monty (76-76--152) and
Leah Skaar (73-79--152) are both tied for 32nd place.
Elise Hoven (81-73--154) is tied for 47th place, while
Jo Baranczyk (81-76--157) closes out the group tied for 60th place.
As a team, NDSU (302-294--596) moved up two spots on the leaderboard into sixth place in the 17-team tournament. James Madison (285-286--571) holds a 16-stroke advantage and is currently in first place.
The average score through two rounds of play is 76.65.
