SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Top-seeded Oral Roberts raced out to an 18-3 lead in the first five minutes and dealt the North Dakota State men's basketball team a 92-58 defeat in the championship game of the Summit League Tournament on Tuesday night.

It was the fifth straight appearance in the Summit League Tournament championship game for the Bison, and their ninth in the last 11 seasons.

Boden Skunberg led NDSU with 18 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore
Andrew Morgan scored 13 for the Bison.

ORU led 51-20 at halftime. The Golden Eagles shot 48 percent for the game and made 13 three-pointers. NDSU shot 32 percent overall and made 2-of-13 from beyond the arc.

With their run to the title game, the Bison improved to 18-6 at the Summit League Tournament under head coach David Richman.

NDSU finished the season with an overall record of 16-17, winning seven of its last nine games.
