
NDSU Men’s Track & Field Competes at USD Early Bird

VERMILLION, S.D. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team finished competition at the USD Early Bird meet hosted by South Dakota on Saturday.
Bison senior Trevor Otterdahl won the discus with a throw of 179-2 (54.61m). Junior Levi Rockey threw a personal-best 171-0 (52.13m) in the discus for fourth place in the meet, and he now ranks 11th all-time at NDSU.
NDSU junior Matt Kraft threw 214-5 (65.35m) to take third in the javelin. Freshman Paul Olson scored 6,213 points to place fourth in the decathlon.
Koate Deebom placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 45-08.50 (13.93m).
Redshirt freshman Jared Eggermont clocked 14.97 in the 110m hurdles for seventh place.
The Bison will travel to the Los Angeles area for a series of meets next week.
