SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State junior
Nell Graham has been named the Most Outstanding Performer of the 2023 Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships, following a vote of the league's head coaches.
Â
Graham was the top scorer among all women's athletes at the Summit League Championships with 26 points, winning the heptathlon and 400m dash. She also ran on NDSU's second-place 4x400m relay and took fifth in the 400m hurdles.
Â
With new personal-bests at the conference meet, Graham now ranks sixth in NDSU history for the heptathlon (5,207 points), seventh for the 200m dash (23.97), and eighth for the 400m dash (53.93).
Â
In addition, the Bison women had 19 athletes named All-League for outdoor track & field on Friday.
Â
To receive the All-League distinction, a student-athlete must finish in the top three of an event at the league championship meet. The Bison had the largest group of honorees in the league, and sprinter
