NDSU Volleyball Announces 2023 Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State volleyball team and head coach Jennifer Lopez have announced the upcoming 2023 schedule.
The schedule features 27 total matches, including 10 at Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse. The Bison will open the season with six straight road matches beginning against UC-Riverside on Aug. 25 at the Idaho Volleyball Classic in Moscow, Idaho.
NDSU begins its home schedule hosting the NDSU Tournament for the second straight season when the Bison welcome Portland State and Toledo to Fargo on Sept. 8-9. NDSU concludes non-conference action at the Mountaineer Invitational against Robert Morris, West Virginia and Old Dominion on Sept. 14-15.
NDSU then begins Summit League play at Oral Roberts on Sept. 21 before finishing out the trip at Denver on Sept. 23. The Bison start the home portion of conference play hosting St. Thomas on Sept. 28 and Omaha on Sept. 30. The Summit League Championship is set for Nov. 19-21 and will be hosted by South Dakota.
NDSU finished last season with a 21-12 (13-5 Summit) overall record and advanced to the Summit League Championship Semifinals before making its first appearance in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) in program history. It marked only the fifth time in the Division I era that the Bison reached the 20-win mark.
