10/16/2024 10:25:00 AM | Women's Cross Country
The North Dakota State women's and men's cross country teams will compete at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill., this Friday afternoon.
The men's eight-kilometer race will run at 3 p.m. at Newman Golf Course, followed by the women's 6k at 3:45 p.m. The meet is expected to include 40 Division I schools.
Friday's races will be the final tune-up for the Bison cross country squads before the Summit League Championships are held on Nov. 2 in Vermillion, S.D.
The Bison women will return to Peoria as the defending team champions of the Bradley Pink Classic after winning the title last October. Senior Reagan Baesler – the top finisher for the Bison in each meet this season – placed eighth overall in Peoria last year. NDSU's women are currently ranked 14th in the Midwest Region.
The NDSU men took seventh place out of 30 teams at last year's Bradley Pink Classic.
