Bison Take On Weber State, Northern Colorado in Big Sky-Summit Challenge

The Games: The North Dakota State men's basketball team will play two games as part of the Big Sky-Summit Challenge this week. The Bison will play a road game at Weber State in Ogden, Utah, on Wednesday, Dec. 4, before returning home to host Northern Colorado on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Saturday, Dec. 7 vs. Northern Colorado 7 p.m. CT
Where to Watch: Wednesday's game at Weber State will be broadcast on ESPN+. Saturday's home game will be broadcast on WDAY Xtra locally and available to subscribers of the Summit League Network through the Midco Sports Plus app.

Against Northern Colorado: The Bison lead the all-time series with longtime North Central Conference foe Northern Colorado, 34-21. The Bears won the most recent meeting 80-70 on Nov. 25, 2022, at The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M., with UNC's Dalton Knecht scoring 22 points.
Long Range Attack: NDSU ranks sixth out of 360-plus Division I teams with 11.9 three-pointers made per game.
The Bombs Away Bison™: NDSU is attempting three-pointers at the highest rate in Division I this season. According to KenPom, 56 percent of NDSU's shots attempted this year have been three-pointers – the highest percentage in the nation.
Most Threes in Three Games: The Bison drained 49 three-pointers over the three-game stretch in Birmingham from Nov. 26-28 – an average of 16.3 per game, and the most over a three-game span in school history. NDSU shot 48 percent from beyond the arc for the week.
20 Treys: NDSU made a school record 20 three-pointers vs. Samford on Nov. 26. It is one of only three games in the country this season where a team made 20-plus three-pointers vs. a Division I opponent.
Good Helpers: NDSU recorded 26 assists vs. Samford on Nov. 26 – its most in a game since Nov. 18, 2008 (28 vs. Mayville State).
Moni, Moni: Jacksen Moni scored 32 points vs. Utah Valley on Nov. 28. It was the most points by a Bison in a game since Grant Nelson scored 36 vs. North Dakota on Jan. 27, 2023.
3lite Company: Luke Kasubke made seven three-pointers vs. Samford on Nov. 26, starting the game with seven consecutive makes from beyond the arc. He became the eighth Bison in the Division I era to make seven or more treys in a game.
Anyone and Everyone: All five Bison starters averaged more than 10 points per game during the three-game stay in Birmingham – Jacari White (18.0), Jacksen Moni (16.7), Masen Miller (11.0), Brennan Watkins (10.0), and Noah Feddersen (10.0).
White Hot: Senior Jacari White posted career-highs in back-to-back games to open the season, scoring 22 points vs. Jamestown on Nov. 4 before pouring in 27 points vs. Illinois State on Nov. 7. He improved his career-high to 30 points at Samford on Nov. 26. Through nine games, is averaging 17.3 points.
Dissette Career Highs: Sophomore Darik Dissette posted new career-highs for points (16) and rebounds (7) in NDSU's win over Minnesota Crookston on Nov. 21.
Point Guard Duo: NDSU's point guard duo of junior Brennan Watkins and freshman Andy Stefonowicz have combined for 43 assists compared to just 20 turnovers this season.
Santa Clara Comeback: The Bison erased a 19-point deficit to come back for an 88-80 overtime win at Santa Clara on Nov. 13. Jacari White and Jacksen Moni both scored 19 points in the game, and the Bison made 15-of-32 (47 percent) from three-point range.
Santa Clara was picked third in the West Coast Conference preseason poll behind Gonzaga and Saint Mary's.
