PALM DESERT, Calif. – The North Dakota State women's golf team rolled past Seattle, 4-1, in the final round of the Mountain Classic Match Play at the Classic Club on Wednesday afternoon.

Norah Roberts held on a for a 1&0 victory after opening up a two-hole advantage through 12. Rivekka Jumagulova answered for Seattle on hole 16 before Roberts closed out the match with back-to-back pars on 17 and 18 to secure the win.

Madi Hicks, who won all three of her matches this week, battled back to all square through 12 holes after trailing by one. She then opened up a two-hole edge picking up wins on holes 15 and 16 to help earn the 1&0 victory.

Catherine Monty built up a three-hole advantage through six before Shayna Lu raced back to make the match all square by hole 11. She then won holes 12 and 13 and went on to steal the 2&1 win. Elise Hoven responded for the Bison quickly opening up a three-hole lead through nine. Azumi Arai attempted to make a comeback trimming the deficit to one after taking hole 16 before Hoven earned a key victory on 17 to seal the 2&1 win.  

Leah Skaar, who also won all three of her matches this week, fell behind by one hole before working her way back to all square through four. She then slowly opened up a three-hole edge with wins on hole six, seven and nine to help propel her to a 3&2 victory.
